Description
The Archdiocese of Bar is located in Bishopric, a part of the town located on the road from the centre to Old Bar. The Bishopric is visible from the overpass on the road Bar – Ulcinj. It was founded in 1089. At that time, the dioceses of Ulcinj, Trebinje, Svač, Kotor, Shkodra, Drivast, Pilot, as well as Raška and Bosnian diocese fell under the Archdiocese of Bar.
