BAR’S PROMENADE (BARSKI ĐIR)
July-August, Bar and all other tourist sites
Numerous events and contents that turn Bar into a unique festival stage. A diverse program is conducted in all tourist sites of the municipality of Bar. From morning yoga, aqua gymnastics, prize quizzes on the beach, through art workshops of painting, sculpture, recycling, monotype, making acting masks, all the way to animations for children, klapa* performances, majorette parades, and bazaar and promotion of local products and souvenirs.
A Fisherman’s Fest and a Walking Tour on a full moon night are also organized within Bar’s Promenade
*klapa music is a form of traditional a cappella singing with origins in Dalmatia, Croatia.
PRIGANICA FEST
July-August, Virpazar
A festival of entertaining character, during which visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a tasting of priganice prepared according to a traditional recipe with homemade honey produced in this region.

OLIVE FESTIVAL MASLINIJADA
November, Old Bar
In addition to presenting famous products from the Bar area such as olives, olive oil and citrus, at this event, visitors can also enjoy an exhibition of national costumes, as well as cultural and entertainment program. In addition to olive growers, there are also beekeepers, winemakers and growers of medicinal plants who exhibit their products. Visitors have the opportunity to taste and buy products of traditional Bar cuisine on site.
DAYS OF WINE AND BLEAK (DANI VINA I UKLJEVE)
December, Virpazar
This event celebrates bleak and wine. It is a place where grapevine products are presented and fish, especially bleak, is tasted. It is a competitive type of event where the best wine and the best song about wine are chosen. Its character is regional and entertaining. Every year, a different music star entertains visitors and participants.
INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF CHILDREN’S CREATIVITY AND CREATIVITY FOR CHILDREN – MEETINGS UNDER THE OLD OLIVE (MEĐUNARODNI FESTIVAL DJEČJEG STVARALAŠTVA I STVARALŠTVA ZA DJECU – SUSRETI POD STAROM MASLINOM)

A traditional event, which has been held since 1987, and is dedicated to children’s creativity and creativity for children. Children presented their literature and artistic pieces on the topic “Olive, peace, friendship”.
NEW YEAR’S HAPPENING (NOVOGODIŠNJI HAPPENING)

This is an event during which all visitors of our town can taste the products displayed at New Year’s stands and houses, but also buy souvenirs specific for our area. During the event, cultural content is organized in the form of concerts of the biggest regional stars, as well as theatre plays and concerts for our youngest ones.

May and September, Sutomore – Gathers motorcyclists from the country and from the former SFRY.

BATTLE FOR BAR
13 July Bar – A sports and recreational event that includes cross-fit competition, and is organized on the occasion of Montenegrin Statehood Day celebration.

August, Mrkojevići – A traditional event which has been organized since 2009. This event includes the promotion of tourism, culture, sports and traditions of this region.
