Description
In the earthquake of 1896, the unique and miraculous Church of St. Toma slid almost 100 meters, until it stopped on a rock, remaining undamaged. The legend says that the church and the cemetery, after long rains, went down the side and simply “sailed away” from the place where it was built. Today it is a tourist attraction.
